An AR based editorial segment promoting the use of AR in the Museums and Heritage sector. The aim was to demonstrate the use of tag based AR in the M&H sector and demonstrate how this sector can place collection objects in the hands of the visitor as never before.
GR/DD researched and modeled an Anglo-Saxon Coppergate Helmet. Caption text provides interpretation content as the user explores different parts of the object. The solution enables users to explore, examine and learn about the object.
The editorial content was placed in Museums & Heritage's printed and online formats. The campaign ran for one month and received a very high editorial to site visit conversion rate.
