Develop an online campaign that engages users, promotes social media activity and extends Dell’s above the line campaign. The application should enable the user to customise the Dell logo with their name, record their experience and share with friends.
We developed a browser based Augmented Reality solution that transforms the user's name into the Dell logo. The application applies Dell ‘brand rules’ to the user’s name to match the logo design as closely as possible. The user can add seasonal themes, record and share videos with friends.
The first of its kind for Dell and hugely successful. The site attracted over 2000 unique visits in the first week of launch. The application will be extended and repurposed across 2012 leading to a truly viral solution that exposes Dell as an innovative brand with wide appeal.
